Description
Omapodi – also called as “Sev” in North India is a popular street snack. This golden crunchy – munchy sev is a hot favorite among children and adults and is consumed as a tea time snacks or topped over chaat or it can be used along with mixture. It can be made plain or flavored with ajwain (omam), Garlic or green chilli. The one made using omam is called as omapodi. This crispy sev is made mainly of gram flour. Small quantity of rice flour is used to keep them crisp for few more days.
Ingredients : Besan flour, Rice flour, Salt, Omam(Ajwain) , Asafoetida, Vegetable oil.
